FAQ
What is this store about?
My name is Daniel Joesch and I am a creator and composer of several commercial pieces and an ambitious sound designer living in southern Germany. I like to share my work of rebuilding famous sounds of famous music.
Why 'Synthrilla'?
This year the fruits of years of dedication and the specific insights I had the privilege to uncover about the song Thriller this year have inspired me to make my presets available to the public. It would mean a lot to me if you appreciate my work and are willing to invest a small amount in it. For each preset, I’ve created over 100 variations, constantly refining my sound design techniques and exploring new ways to achieve the most authentic reproduction possible. I hope you enjoy the presets as much as I enjoyed creating them!
What do I need for importing an ARTURIA preset?
To easily import a preset file, you need the correct version of the V Collection software. For instance, Arturia Jup-8 V4 is required to import a .jup4x file. The Jup-8 V4 has been available since the release of V Collection 8 in 2020, meaning you should be able to import the preset from that version onward.
How can I use a MIDI file?
To use MIDI files, you’ll need an application or DAW that can play or import MIDI file formats and assign a virtual instrument to play the notes contained in the MIDI data.
How does the payment work?
The payment methods are secure and provided by Easy Digital Downloads, one of the largest providers of online store plugins for WordPress. I provide the gateways of Paypal and Stripe. If anything unexpected occurs, please feel free to contact me.
Why are some presets free while others have a price?
Some of the presets are based on information that have been officially explained or are sample based by the work of other people. I don’t want to make money from this if the work includes elements of others’ work.
